The iRobot Floorvac vacuum cleaner has dirt detection and infra-red cliff sensors that make cleaning floors a snap. It can clean carpet, but also wood and hard tile floors. My mother is amazed at how effective, efficient and "smart" this vacuum is.

The artificial intelligence of this robotic vacuum cleaner can determine the size of the room and can adjust the run time so the entire floor is always completely cleaned. My mother usually sets her vacuum to run for 2 hours. The integrated battery runs up to several hours. There is also a charger available for recharging once the battery runs out. My mother also likes the vacuum's easy-to-empty debris bin and edge-sweeping sidebrush.

When I ordered this vacuum cleaner, I added the Roomba’s 4900 Self-Charging Drive-On Home Base to resume and complete a cleaning cycle in case the battery runs down. This accessory is very effective for continual cleaning

My mother likes all of the features of this iRobot vacuum cleaner. But the built-in stasis sensors and infra-red cliff sensors are the unique specs she finds most helpful. The sensors spot areas that need extra cleaning and prevent the vacuum from falling off the edge of their staircases.

This amazing vacuum cleaner has the ability to detect furniture and walls too. Its wall-following technology enables it to remove dust, dirt and other debris from the base of walls, corners of the room and other hard-to-reach areas of the house.

My mother is a busy career woman and she doesn't have a lot of time to spend cleaning her home. She doesn't have much time to vacuum the house. The robotic vacuum allows her to enjoy more of her free time and clean her home's floors simultaneously. She also doesn't have to carry a heavy vacuum cleaner up and down stairs to clean.

After seeing and hearing about how well my mother's robotic vacuum cleaner worked out, I'm now planning to buy one for myself. Saving time and effort on housecleaning is a gift I can't wait to give myself.
