hoover Vaccum Cleaner
Hoover or Vaccum cleaner ?
I'm forever arguing with the wife about this . WE dont posses anything made by Hoover , yet she still insists on saying '' Do the Hoovering ''
hoover is a brand name , you can Hoover your Shirts , use a Hoover to make a hot drink , Use a hoover to wash your clothes etc etc etc .....................
Am i just being pedantic ?
what do you say when its time to clean the carpets?
I hoover.
I know it's wrong, but that's what I say.
Please don't argue with your wife over this, it really isn't important enough.
Why don't you tell her that you are going to do the hoovering, just to make her smile?
