Bissell Easyvac vacuum doesnt suck?

So i bought this over a month ago, and it was working perfect, until i accidentally got the bedskirt stuck under the vacuum (and it started making a weird noise, as in when it sucks stuff it shouldnt)
Now it doesnt suck the hairs on the carpet, or little threads or nothing! I feel the suction, but its not as strong enough as it should be.

Ive tried emptying the "bag", clearing up the rollers underneath....how do i fix it??

Steps on How to Clean Bissell Lift Off Vacuum

Bissell Lift Off vacuums come in various sizes, models and shapes. Lots of Bissell Lift Off vacuums have internal filters for dusts as well. Washing your Bissell Lift Off vacuum would help the vacuum cleaner stay in high condition for lots of years. The maintenance of vacuum must be done about two times a year for great results.

Step #1

Ensure that the vacuum isn't plugged in to any electrical or wall socket. Put the vacuum cleaner down on its side, showing the bottom part.

Step #2

Remove the screws of the faceplate keeping the beater bar in position. Normally, there are 2 screws, 1 on each side of the cleaner. Detach the beater bar.

Step #3

Put the seam ripper or knife along 1 edge of the beater bar of the vacuum. Put the knife in the center of the beater bar under any string or hair around the bar. This takes some time if the vacuum cleaner hasn't been cleaned off in a while. Remove all string and hair. Cut the string and hair away.

Step #4

Wash the beater bar when all the hair has been detached. Continue to wash until the water becomes clear. Use a towel to dry it.

Step #5

Detach the dirt canister or vacuum bag. Normally, there's a detach button that could be pressed to detach the canister or bag. Put the canister away. Examine the housing where the bag or canister was seen. Find any filters that the cleaner has. Look at your Bissell Lift Off manual for the location of the filter.

Step #6

Detach the filters with a screwdriver. If the filters aren't reusable, purchase new filters and change them. If they're reusable, wash the filters. Put some amount of drops of dish washing soap through the filters and wash with water. This would take a few minutes. Use a towel to dry the filters.

Step #7

Wet a cloth and rub through the surface of the vacuum cleaner to eliminate any dust. Pay attention to the housing of the canister and to where the hoses are attached.

Step #8

Throw away the things inside the canister. Change the bag. Wash the canister outside making use of a hose. Use a towel to dry the filter. Put back the canister.

Step #9

Find the areas underneath the vacuum cleaner where the beater bar is attached. Apply some lubricant on the joining pieces. This would let the beater bar spin faster.

Step #10

Change the beater bar and put the screws back in position.

Step #11

Detach the hoses away from the vacuum cleaner. Eliminate any large debris clogging the hose to the bag or canister. Peek through the hose to see if there are still any other blockages. If there's a block, utilize a wire hanger to push the blockage away from the hose. Bring back the hose to the vacuum cleaner.
